Quantum Lighting’s entertainment and theatrical lighting division specializes in the design and installation of new lighting and audio equipment as well as the repair and servicing of existing equipment.
For new theatrical installations, in partnership with Scenework, Quantum Lighting can supply and install complete systems of modern LED lighting fixtures, lighting consoles, dimmer and contact racks, mounting hardware from most major manufacturers, along with the full complement of hardware, control components and electrical distribution.
For theatres requiring a complete audio system, Quantum Lighting partners with Audio Operation Ltd. to provide a complete design, supply, and installation service.
As a Canadian dealer for Vari-Lite, Quantum Lighting specializes in offering all of their products in Western Canada, supported by Factory-trained technicians, who are also qualified red-seal electricians.
Quantum Lighting also has an in-house repair shop that is equipped to repair many of the older dimmer racks, dimmer modules, and lighting fixtures manufactured by Strand Lighting (now called Vari-Lite). Quantum Lighting maintains a stock of loaner processors and repair parts to get the following Strand dimmer rack systems back in operation quickly:
- Strand CD80 Supervisor and CD80 Advanced Electronics
- Strand A21 and C21
- Strand DE90
For Strand system components no longer available from Vari-Lite, Quantum Lighting is a dealer for Johnson Systems Inc., who manufacture new replacement components.
For entertainment lighting systems Quantum Lighting offers complete lighting design services by highly qualified lighting engineers and designers for both indoor and exterior colour-changing LED lighting systems with the latest DMX or networked control systems.
