Site Description:
Ladner Leisure Centre and Sungod Recreation Centre are multi-purpose sports and recreation facilities. Ladner Leisure Centre is also the training center for the Vancouver Giants WHL hockey team.
Consulting Services:
Quantum Lighting, Inc. provided lighting design services to upgrade the ice arena lighting and lighting control systems.
Lighting Upgrade:
Original fixtures were replaced with new high-performance LED luminaires as per recommended lighting layouts. The outdated GE relay-based and contactor controls were replaced with modern data line Douglas lighting control systems, providing switching flexibility as well as occupancy sensor control. Core requirements were to achieve IESNA recommended light levels and uniformity targets.
